When making a purchase on the Quinta do Cerrado da Porta website, the buyer assumes that he/she is over 18 years old and does not have any impediment and/or legal restriction that prevents him/her from drinking alcoholic beverages. All items for sale are subject to existing stock. Orders are only shipped after payment has been confirmed. In the event of a stock shortage, the customer will be informed and, if possible, an alternative will be suggested. If the alternative is not accepted, the money will be refunded at no additional cost. The prices shown include VAT at the legal rate and do not include shipping costs, which vary depending on the destination and the weight of the wine ordered.
HOW OUR DELIVERIES WORK
Quinta do Cerrado da Porta sends its orders to any point in Portugal, directly to the customer's home, within a maximum period of 5 days. For orders outside Portugal, the estimated delivery period is 8 to 15 days, depending on the destination country. The delivery period begins after confirmation of payment. Delays exceeding the estimated time may occur due to force majeure. In the event of delays, Quinta do Cerrado da Porta will inform the customer as soon as it becomes aware of them.
WHAT IS THE SHIPPING COST?
The shipping cost varies according to the total weight of the merchandise, distance, type of delivery, and will be added to the value of the merchandise purchased. The cost is calculated and communicated to the customer before the purchase is confirmed. If the bottles purchased make up one or more cases of 6 bottles, the customer gets the most out of the delivery cost, and different wines can be grouped together per case of 6 bottles, as long as they are similar.
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO IF YOU RECEIVE DAMAGED PACKAGE OR BOTTLES?
In the event that the shipping package is damaged, the customer must check its contents at the time of delivery, with the courier present. If the contents are found to be damaged, the customer must immediately file a complaint with the courier/transporter and then contact Quinta do Cerrado da Porta. In these cases, it is important to send a photo.
IF I WANT TO RETURN THE ORDER?
The customer has a maximum period of 14 days, counting from the receipt of the package, to return the order, without payment of compensation and without needing to state the reason, by sending a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt communicating this wish. The return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Orders with freight collect will not be accepted and Quinta do Cerrado da Porta does not refund shipping costs. The wine must be returned in proper condition for use, including the original packaging. The price will be refunded to the customer within a maximum period of 30 days after receipt of the returned packaging, minus the original shipping cost.
CANCELLATION OF PURCHASE BY QUINTA DO CERRADO DA PORTA
Quinta do Cerrado da Porta may cancel the purchase in the following situations: Impossibility of executing the debit corresponding to the purchase on the Credit Card, failure to pay the deposit or bank transfer within the deadline, inconsistency of the data filled in the purchase order or incorrect prices being registered electronically.
IN CASE OF CONFLICT
In the event of a dispute, the customer must resort to one of the Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution entities whose name, contact details and website addresses are included in the list of entities filed with the Consumer Affairs Bureau.
