Located in the municipality of Sobral de Monte Agraço, in the Lisbon Wine Region, Cerrado da Porta is a family-run company that aims to produce quality wines, always in limited editions, that extract from the soil and climate all the potential of a privileged territory: clay-limestone soils, rugged topography, cool nights, morning fog, action of strong Atlantic winds. Most of the grapes, particularly white varieties, come from vineyards planted in high areas, resulting in wines with remarkable aroma, flavor and acidity. The red varieties are mainly planted on lower slopes, warmer and less buffeted by the wind, which creates conditions that favor the slow ripening of the grapes, resulting in intense, structured and complex wines.
